SOME MORE NEW JERSEY

So we’ve established that it was torrential today in NJ. Heres some of our memories from Fridays bizarre events.

It was great to be acquainted with the old girl again – some nice changes since Atlanta

Team Ireland were more than happy to get stuck in given the conditions

Today was dominated by the stewards decisions – lots of meetings in the drivers tent – final result, play suspended.
Finally, heres a simple vid of how Scoobs performed in Lake Wall. Some of the most testing conditions I’ve ever experienced - huge thanks and respect to Team Hankook/Dynamic – all hands on deck to make sure Robbie and I got track time.

FORMULA DRIFT NJ – THURSDAY UPDATE 1

Its raining in NJ, with flood watch for qualifying tomorrow. This is definitely going to cause some major setup issues for the teams. Our Subaru is still en route from L.A so today we were just spectating. We’ll be out on track tomorrow morning though with plenty of practice time.
Tonight its ‘Throttle Thursday’ where we’ll be riding BMX with some of the worlds greatest pro riders – pics from that will follow when we get back to the hotel. In the mean time, some pics from today and a vid of fellow Irishman D-Mac on track.

We’ll do our best to keep you bang up to date throughout the weekend.

RFACTOR DRIFTING: ROCKSTAR COROLLA ACTION

Here is a video of the battle between Eric and D-Mac in Long Beach. This was Eric’s first ever Formula D event and first Top 32. Footage is taken from the Spotter’s tower so you get the best view and exactly what the judges see too.

FORMULA D ATLANTA MEMORIES

We met up with some really great people once again in Atlanta. We are always welcomed every time we travel over. Each trip seems to leave us with more Facebook friends. New Jersey is just around the corner so we cant wait. Its Hankook Tires USA’s hometown so expect a good showing.
