Streetwars Car Show NJ
After a few weeks of Settling into New Jersey life it was about time to go and check out some of the local car scene at one of the first shows of the year, Street Wars 6.
The show was held at Stockton college in south NJ and it was great to see such a strong turn out especially since all proceeds were going to the Susan G. Komen foundation in aid of breast cancer. There was a massive variety of cars from old skool american muscle to lifted trucks but it was of course the JDM side of things and especially the drift metal on display that got my attention.
On Saturday March 5th I travelled with my good friend Fionan Reid to the Moneyglass estate in Co Antrim for the 6th round of the Northern Ireland Rallysport Association Winter championship.
Fionan has been competing in this series for a number of years and is in fact a past champion but due to work commitments this season he has had to miss some events. He was out to reclaim some glory this particular weekend at what is his favourite venue on in the series and I was on co driving duty. Just as well he knows the stage here by memory !. Details
